The Company: Arms Corporation of the Philippines

Established as a trading company in 1905 and known as Squires Bingham Co. at the time, the company found a market in importing and retailing motorcycles and sporting goods - including firearms and ammunition. In 1952 the President of the Philippines granted the company permission to manufacture its own line firearms and ammunition locally, as it was in line with his government's thrust towards industrialization. Known as Armscor today, the company touts that it is the largest arms and ammunition manufacturer in SouthEast Asia.
