Disclaimer: As much as I love handguns, I am at best an average shooter. In the midst of middle-age, my eyesight is going, and my hand is not as steady as it used to be. I shoot for enjoyment, and to maintain adequate control for self defense. By no means do I shoot for competition. It should be noted then, that if I can maintain a reasonable grouping on any gun I fire, the gun has a lot to do with it. My range analysis consists firing fifty rounds through the gun, cold without any practice. Two sets, five groups of five shots each. The first set at 25 yards, from a bench rest, the second set at 7 yards, from a standing position in a modified Weaver stance. Ammo used for this test firing: CCI/Speer Blazer Brass 115 grain Full Metal Jacket The following results are the best five-shot grouping of each of the five groups: |
