| The loaded chamber indicator is a small spring-loaded block at the rear of the breech. As a cartridge moves up from the magazine during loading, the cartridge base presses up on the block, raising it up from its flush position on the frame. The raised block can be seen, or in low-light conditions, felt to determine load status. |
