About the Manufacturer
Founded in 1924 and currently located in Accokeek, Maryland, Stoeger has imported a wide variety of firearms during the last seven decades. Most of these guns were good quality and came from known makers in europe. Many were marketed under the Stoeger brand. In the 1990s, the Stoeger company was purchased by Finnish rifle manufacturer Sako, and then in 2000, Sako was acquired by Beretta Holding S.p.A. At that time, Stoeger Industries was placed under the ownership of Benelli USA, also a subsidiary of Beretta, where it remains today as a member of the Benelli USA family of companies.
