About the Gun

The PF-9 is a semi-automatic, locked breech pistol, chambered for the 9mm Luger cartridge. It has been developed from the company's P-11 and P-3AT pistols with maximum concealability in mind. The PF-9 has a single stack magazine holding 7 rounds. It is one of the lightest and flattest 9 mm pistols on the market. The firing mechanism is double-action only (DAO) with an automatic hammer block safety. The PF-9 is available in blued, parkerized, and hard chrome finishes. Grips are available in black, tan, gray, and olive drab.

About the Cartridge

This cartridge was introduced along with the Luger semi-automatic pistol. The pistol and cartridge was first adopted by the German Navy in 1904 and then by the German Army in 1908. This cartridge has since been adopted by the military of practically every non-Communist power. It has become the most popular and widely-used handgun cartridge in the world. Performance wise, the 9 mm cartridge has somewhat more power than the .38 Special but falls well short of the .357 Magnum.

Have had this gun for 10 years now. Never a whimper, goes bang every time i pull the trigger. I've worn out a lot of pant pockets carrying this gun.
