Analysis

The Model 3913LS (LadySmith), produced from 1990 to 2006, extended the base 3913's run by targeting the concealed-carry market with refinements for smaller hands and discreet carry. Key distinctions include a right-hand-only decocker/safety lever to reduce right-side bulk and printing, a contoured/slanted dustcover for improved ergonomics, distinctive checkered white Delrin grips, and "LadySmith" slide engraving—though its clean aesthetics quickly attracted broad appeal beyond the intended demographic. Reliability mirrors the standard 3913, with strong performance on standard-pressure 9mm loads and minimal issues reported over high round counts. The single-sided control and refined frame contours enhance concealability in IWB or pocket setups compared to ambi models, while the alloy construction maintains corrosion resistance and balanced weight for all-day comfort. In the current handgun market, the 3913LS commands a modest premium over base 3913s reflecting sustained collector and user interest in its slim, traditional metal-frame design as polymer compacts dominate everyday carry options.

By Fraser67 on 04 Sep 2020
This is great for to learn and go training. Give yourself feel confidence to use the gun. Its recoiled pretty much but not too bad. It will improve your skills on using this gun for many women. Use Magtech ammo 9mm luger for training.
