About the Handgun:
The M-5 series is a high capacity semi-automatic pistol design with fiber-reinforced polymer grip molded onto a stainless steel implant. Also standard in the series are a match-grade ramped bull barrel, a match-grade hammer and a full length guide rod.
About the Manufacturer:
BUL Ltd. was founded early in 1990 as a privately held company, specializing in the development, construction and maintenance of indoor shooting ranges both in Israel and abroad. Wishing to expand its line of activities, the company began developing a high capacity polymer 1911 pistol. In 1992 the BUL M-5 was introduced, and since then the company has developed and produced several semi-automatic polymer frame handgun models.

About the Cartridge:
This cartridge was developed by John Browning and was adopted by the United States Ordnance Department along with the Colt-Browning automatic pistol in 1911. It has also been made the official military handgun chambering by several other governments, notably Argentina, Mexico and Norway. The 45 Automatic is the most powerful military handgun cartridge in use today. This is a heavy and powerful sub-sonic round. Although its muzzle energy can exceed 400 ft-lbs, its velocity and bullet weight creates a steep trajectory curve that limits its effective range to self-defense distances.
