Nighthawk Custom was formed in 2004 and initially specialized in quality custom 1911-style pistols, starting with the GRP and Talon models. The company has expanded the product line from those original two models to over 40 unique and custom versions of the 1911. In addition to 1911 pistols, Nighthawk also manufactures top-of-the-line tactical shotguns based on the Remington 870 design. Nighthawk Custom began offering a line of custom revolvers and Hi-Power pistols in 2016. The revolvers were the result of a collaboration with Korth-Waffen of Lollar Germany, and the Hi-Power pistols were a collaboration with Fabrique Nationale of Herstal Belgium.
