About the Gun

Full-size striker-fired 9 mm pistol on a milled 7075 aluminum (Ergal) frame, using the non-tilting barrel lockup of the Strike One line. The Pro slide is steel with lightening cuts, front and rear serrations, and an optics-ready deck. The grip is a smooth aluminum module meant for added texture. A flat-faced light match trigger, fiber-optic front and adjustable rear sights, an ambidextrous magazine release, and a dust-cover accessory rail are standard.

Production began in 2022 and is currently ongoing.

Market value

MSRP is around $3,000. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $1,700–$2,400.

Analysis

Arsenal introduced the Ergal Pro in 2022 as the competition follow-on to the earlier aluminum-frame Ergal. The lockup and 5 in envelope stayed the same; the changes were a lightened slide, an optics-ready cut, a lighter flat trigger, and a smooth frame intended for aftermarket grip work. It has remained an Italian catalog gun aimed at practical-pistol use rather than a duty pistol. U.S. volume is small, so used Pros appear less often than polymer Strike Ones.
