About the Gun

This series of pistols is known for their unique tip-up barrel. It is pinned at the front of the frame so that it can be released by rotating a safety catch. The breech can then be raised clear of the slide, allowing the barrel to be cleaned, or chamber loaded, the barrel closed and the gun fired.

Production

Production of this specific firearm variant with a stainless steel finish began in 2000 and continued until around 2013. It was primarily manufactured in the United States during this period before being discontinued.

Analysis

This compact .32 Auto pistol offers a solid option for concealed carry or backup use, with several notable attributes. Its accuracy is commendable for a small firearm, providing consistent performance at close to moderate ranges. Ergonomically, the design fits well in smaller hands, with a grip that aids control during firing. Reliability is a strong point, as it functions smoothly with proper ammunition, showing minimal malfunctions in testing. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to its intricate design, requiring more attention to detail during cleaning. Availability of replacement parts may pose a challenge, as they are not as widely stocked as those for more common models. The trigger pull is relatively heavy, which might affect precision for some users, while the felt recoil is mild, making it manageable even for less experienced shooters. Overall, it’s a practical choice with specific trade-offs.

Purchased Inox model and shot 200+ rounds in one session. 60g and 71g PMC 32acp ammo. Flawless operation. DA trigger is a bit heavy but not too long. SA trigger is excellent. Two finger grip is adequate for this pocket pistol. Recoil is mild. Had to purchase a second magazine separately. Have to remember to flip barrel up after firing...slide does not lock open on empty magazine. Relatively easy to take down and clean. Worst feature is the sights. Going to apply white fingernail polish to front sight. But point shoot accuracy is very good out to 7 yards. Quality design. Love it so far. Planning on purchasing a pocket holster next week.
