Analysis

The 83FS followed the 83F around 1998. The change is the revised decocker, so the lever does not hang half-down. There is no unsuffixed 83, no 83B, and no 83BB. The gun is the single-stack .380 Auto with the longer barrel. Italian production was limited, and the model was not a regular export item. Later guns carry the Cheetah name. The series paused in 2017. The 83F is the earlier gun with the first decock lever. The 85FS is the shorter-barrel companion on the same thin grip. The 86 is the tip-up and is a separate model. Plastic panels from the FS fit the F. Magazines and the panels are the usual missing pieces.
