About the Gun

The Beretta Nano is a single-stack 9mm with a striker firing system. It is Beretta’s first ever striker-fired handgun. There is no external slide lock or safety lever, but there is an internal drop safety and a double-action only trigger. The removable, serialized steel sub-chassis allows the user to easily replace grip frames and disassemble the gun for maintenance. The low profile sights are completely adjustable. While not completely ambidextrous, the gun does have a reversible magazine release.

Analysis

This compact 9mm pistol offers a solid option for concealed carry, with a design focused on ease of use and discretion. Its accuracy is commendable for a firearm of this size, delivering consistent performance at typical self-defense ranges. Ergonomically, the grip fits well for most hand sizes, promoting a secure hold during operation. Reliability is a strong point, with the pistol functioning smoothly across various ammunition types under standard conditions. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to the complexity of disassembly, which may frustrate less experienced users. Availability of replacement parts could also pose a challenge in certain regions. The trigger pull is notably heavy, potentially affecting precision for some shooters, while the felt recoil is moderate, manageable for most but possibly sharp for beginners. Overall, it’s a practical choice with trade-offs that users should weigh based on their needs.

One of the best Micro 9mm's
By Pocketgunner on 07 Sep 2018
Great snag free design. Extremely well built. All Stainless Steel design on chassis, receiver. Solid as a Rock. Modular design. One of the most mild recoiling Micro 9mm's. Very little muzzle flip.Trigger is double action. Smooth and deliberate. Ideal for carry with a OAL of only 5.63. The mild recoil and minimal muzzle rise makes this gun easy to get back on to target. Beretta did a great job on this firearm for CCW.
