About the Gun

The Pico was developed for ease of use and concealment. It has a low profile, snag free design that can accommodate either right or left handed use. The semi-automatic pistol uses a short recoil locked breech barrel locking system and is double-action only, hammer-fired.

About the Cartridge

Designed by John Browning and introduced by Fabrique Nationale of Belgium, this cartridge has achieved world-wide acceptance and has even been adopted as the standard pistol cartridge by several governments. One reason for the round's success is that it is the largest practical cartridge that can be easily adapted to small automatic pocket pistols. Ballistics fall far short of even the 9mm Luger, but still prove adequate for most self-defense situations. The round has established quite a niche position in this role, often being chosen over more traditional small calibers such as the .25 and .32 Autos.

I didn't say this is striker-fired.
By babbalou1569 on 03 Jul 2021
Correcting the post by caclark. It's a double-action hammer-fired pistol in case anyone missed that.

Bobbed hammer, NOT striker fired

Correcting the post from babbalou1569... This is a concealed (bobbed) hammer fired pistol, not a striker fired pistol.

Small, Dependable, 2nd Strike Capable
By babbalou1569 on 31 Oct 2019
People used to striker-fired range guns won't like the Pico. But I do. It's exactly what I need for t-shirt weather. The grip is like a cigarette lighter. 1 1/2 fingers. I trimmed the finger extension & have a 2 finger grip. The trigger is long, heavy but smooth. You can't accidentally pull this trigger so there's no safety. I can't hit targets at 25 yards with this pistol but it's not made for that. It fills the Seecamp niche. A tiny, reliable 380 with 2nd strike capability that you can quickly hit center mass with at 10 yards or less. Unlike the Seecamp it's cheap & available. It's also very well made & very easy to take down & assemble. A bit less snappy than 4 other micro 380s I rented except the larger Glock 42. This is the only carry pistol I own that I don't have to adjust for. My other carry guns sometimes require me to change a shirt or pants or wear a jacket to be comfortable or not print. Not the Pico. I have a kydex pocket holster & kydex IWB holster. Like a smart phone yo

Perfect Concealed Carry
By rwsani on 25 Jul 2019
Fits all my requirements. It is very small, easy to carry, reliable, and amazingly accurate. The build quality is first rate, and it is a pleasure to shoot. The high bore design fits comfortably in my hand. I shoot with either hand because I am right handed, but left eye dominant. The Pico is made to shoot in either hand. The magazine release is not a problem for me. The paddle wheel became second nature with just a little practice. Racking the slide is easy, and I am 71. Push and pull with pistol held at the side. Push the slide lever in with the thumb when necessary to close the breech. To clean, it is very easy to disassemble and reassemble. The Pico is made for the deliberate shooter who takes the time to learn how to operate it.

The Mild Shooting Little Tank
By Pocketgunner on 01 Oct 2018
Extremely Mild Shooting. Superb build quality. Stainless Steel Receiver, Chassis, and other parts. Very little muzzle flip. Best sights in class, and easy to change out to night sights. One of the few small 380's rated for Plus P. Stainless Steel magazines with Steel follower. Re-Strike capable. Slim design, excellent for pocket carry. Very reliable and will shoot almost any ammo. Trigger was measured on two at 8.0 and 8.1 lbs. Smooth double, deliberate double action. Made to last a life time.
