Analysis

The nickel Bisley was the bright finish of the target-grip Stampede, cataloged with the charcoal-blue gun from 2005. It uses the same modern single-action lock, with a transfer bar rather than a period Colt action, and was built in the same plant as the other Stampede revolvers. Barrels were 4.75, 5.5, and 7.5 inches in .357 Mag and .45 Colt. The run ended with the rest of the Beretta western revolvers. Nickel brings a small premium over the blue gun when the plating is intact. Flaking or a polished-through spot drops it to the blue-gun value range.
