Analysis

The Stampede Deluxe was the presentation finish of the original plow-handle Stampede, cataloged with the blued and nickel guns from 2003. It uses the same transfer-bar single-action lock and was built in the same plant as the rest of the line. The 2006 price list shows it in .45 Colt and .357 Mag at 4.75, 5.5, and 7.5 inches, above the nickel gun. The case colors and walnut panels are the difference from the blued polymer gun. The line was gone by the early 2010s. Used guns trade on how much of the case color remains and whether the wood panels are still fitted.

Nice gun. Feels good in my big hands. Not much recoil. Very accurate.
