Analysis

This particular derringer-style handgun in .45/.410 caliber offers a compact design ideal for close-range personal defense or as a backup firearm. Its accuracy is commendable within short distances, typically under 10 yards, due to its fixed sights and sturdy barrel construction. The ergonomics are well-suited for users with larger hands, though smaller-handed shooters may find the grip less comfortable during extended use. Reliability is a strong point, with consistent performance across various ammunition types, including shotshells. However, maintenance can be cumbersome, as disassembly requires attention to detail, and parts availability may pose challenges for repairs. The trigger pull is notably heavy, often exceeding 7 pounds, which could affect shot placement for less experienced users. Additionally, the felt recoil is significant, especially with .45 loads, potentially deterring those unaccustomed to managing sharp kickback in a lightweight frame.

Great, small & compact, a little on the heavy side, but welcome when shooting 45 Colt and 2.5” and especially the 3” 410 buckshot loads. I also have the Dragon Slayer. Perfect vehicle gun.
