About the Cartridge

This cartridge was introduced along with the Luger semi-automatic pistol. The pistol and cartridge was first adopted by the German Navy in 1904 and then by the German Army in 1908. This cartridge has since been adopted by the military of practically every non-Communist power. It has become the most popular and widely-used handgun cartridge in the world. Performance wise, the 9 mm cartridge has somewhat more power than the .38 Special but falls well short of the .357 Magnum.

My first polymer/striker fire pistol
By Diecapsule78 on 05 Aug 2020
I liked the SA/DA with decocker option for a striker fired pistol. I had some issues with steel cased 115 grain Tulammo. Through the first magazine i put in it, I had 15 FTE's. Not sure if it was the magazine & mix of ammo but I was a little miffed at first. However, it fired every shot after that without issue, about 175 rounds total. It takes a little getting used to the trigger/action of the pistol. Definitely recommend dry firing & practicing with it prior to firing down the range. After a rough start, I'm overall very happy with my purchase of this firearm.
