About the Gun

Budget-oriented pocket pistol manufactured by Tanfoglio in Italy. This model evolved directly from Tanfoglio's earlier Titan line, with modifications to satisfy the US import restrictions imposed by the 1968 Gun Control Act. The open-top slide draws clear inspiration from Beretta's pocket models.

Production

This Italian made model was imported by FIE from the 1970s to the late 1980s.

Analysis

In the broader handgun market, the Titan II E32 slotted into the entry-level segment, competing against imports like the Astra Cub or Spanish Star models, but it never achieved the cult status of higher-end .32s from makers like CZ or Mauser. It was marketed simply as a no-frills workhorse. Solid steel construction throughout gives it a noticeably hefty, durable feel compared to lighter pocket pistols of the era.
