Analysis

This compact .380 Auto pistol offers a solid option for concealed carry with several notable attributes. Its accuracy proves consistent at typical self-defense ranges, delivering tight groupings with proper technique. The ergonomic design fits comfortably in most hands, aiding in control during firing. Reliability is a strong point, with minimal malfunctions reported under standard conditions when using quality ammunition. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to a less intuitive disassembly process, which may frustrate less experienced users. Additionally, sourcing replacement parts can be challenging, potentially delaying repairs. The trigger pull is crisp but on the heavier side, averaging around 6-7 pounds, which might affect precision for some shooters. Felt recoil is moderate for the caliber, manageable for most, though smaller-framed individuals may find it slightly sharp during extended sessions. Overall, it’s a practical choice with a few limitations to consider.

IO Is junk
By WAJJr on 01 Aug 2024
I have one of these with the nickel slide, it is a very poorly made copy of a KelTec. The fit and finish is poor, the rifling in the barrel is sewar pipe-like. There was no product support from IO on their poorly make pistol. It broke extractors that were poorly made. They made a decent paper weight.
