Analysis

This compact .22 LR pistol offers a blend of practical features for recreational shooters and those seeking a lightweight plinking option. Its accuracy is commendable for casual target shooting, with consistent performance at moderate ranges. The ergonomics are user-friendly, fitting comfortably in most hands, which aids in control during extended sessions. Reliability is generally solid, provided regular maintenance is performed, though it can be somewhat finicky with certain ammunition types. On the downside, upkeep can be a bit cumbersome due to the design of some internal components, requiring patience and attention. Availability of replacement parts may pose a challenge, as they are not as widely stocked as more common models. The trigger pull is smooth but slightly heavier than some might prefer, averaging around 5-6 pounds. Felt recoil is minimal, making it approachable for newer shooters or those sensitive to kickback.

Same as CX22?
By Lego on 22 Sep 2021
Looking at the description and photo of the Iver Johnson TP22 makes me wonder if it is the same as the American Arms CX22. Same magazine capacity and overall specs. Could anyone get me out of doubts here?
