Analysis

This revolver in .44 Rem Mag caliber offers a robust platform for shooters seeking power in a traditional single-action design. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent groupings at moderate ranges when paired with quality ammunition. The ergonomics are well-suited for most hand sizes, with a grip that facilitates a natural hold and aids in managing the significant felt recoil inherent to this potent cartridge. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 3.5 pounds, which enhances precision during deliberate shooting. Reliability is a strong point, as the mechanism functions smoothly under regular use with proper care. However, maintenance can be demanding, requiring meticulous cleaning to prevent wear on internal components. Additionally, sourcing replacement parts may pose challenges due to limited availability. While powerful, the recoil might deter less experienced shooters, making it better suited for seasoned users comfortable with magnum calibers.

Bought this used - pristine condition (no firing pin crater issues). Fire 240 mag Hornady no issues targeting. Has a light trigger so be careful.
