About the Gun

Rohrbaugh pistols are precision CNC machined from solid billets of stainless steel for the slide, barrel and smaller internal parts. Frames are from 7075-T651 aluminum billets. Parts are then hand fit for a superior self-defense weapon where size, weight and deep concealment are of consideration. The Stealth series slides are coated with Diamond Black (DLC), which reduces friction, increases wear resistance and has anti-galling properties.

Analysis

This compact .380 Auto pistol offers a solid option for concealed carry with several notable attributes. Its accuracy is commendable for a firearm of this size, delivering consistent performance at close to moderate ranges. The ergonomic design fits comfortably in hand, aiding in control during firing, though some users with larger hands may find the grip slightly cramped. Reliability is a strong point, with the pistol functioning well under varied conditions when properly maintained. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring meticulous attention to keep it in optimal condition. Availability of replacement parts may pose a challenge, potentially delaying repairs. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5 pounds, which aids precision but might feel heavy for some shooters. Felt recoil is moderate for the caliber, manageable with practice, though it can be noticeable during extended sessions. Overall, it’s a capable choice with considerations for upkeep.
