About the Gun

Identical to the LC9s in appearance and function, the LC9s Pro model is designed without a thumb-operated manual safety lever or a magazine disconnect safety. The removal of the external safety allows the shooter to engage targets during high-stress scenarios when there may not be time to deactivate a manual safety. Also, the removal of the magazine disconnect benefits tactical reloads and permits the user to fire a round loaded in the chamber with the magazine removed.

About the Cartridge

This cartridge was introduced along with the Luger semi-automatic pistol. The pistol and cartridge was first adopted by the German Navy in 1904 and then by the German Army in 1908. This cartridge has since been adopted by the military of practically every non-Communist power. It has become the most popular and widely-used handgun cartridge in the world. Performance wise, the 9 mm cartridge has somewhat more power than the .38 Special but falls well short of the .357 Magnum.

Perfect for Everyday Carry
By JKnicker on 15 Apr 2022
I have owned my LC9 Pro for nearly 4 years. It easy to conceal, extremely accurate, and has flawlessly fired every type of ammunition I have fed it. The only reason I don't give it a "5" is a slightly higher recoil than I would like from a 9mm and I like a slightly lighter trigger pull weight. It is a compact. I used the magazine extensions to help with that. But I carry it regularly because it is so reliable and hits what I point it at.
