Analysis

This compact .380 Auto pistol offers a solid option for concealed carry with several notable attributes. Its accuracy is commendable for a firearm of this size, delivering consistent performance at close to moderate ranges. Ergonomically, the design fits well in smaller hands, with a grip that promotes a secure hold despite the diminutive frame. Reliability is another strength, as it cycles smoothly through various ammunition types with minimal malfunctions during extensive testing. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to the tight tolerances of its small components, requiring patience and precision for disassembly. Availability of replacement parts may also pose a challenge for some users. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 6 pounds, which aids in control, though the felt recoil is noticeable, potentially affecting follow-up shots for less experienced shooters. Overall, it’s a practical choice with manageable trade-offs.

Interesting concept, but how can you justify carrying a SAO pistol in Condition 0, cocked and unlocked? A thumb safety is desperately needed!
