About the Gun

The GP100 is a medium-size frame double-action revolver with a strengthened design intended for constant use with all .357 Mag. ammunition. Available in calibers from .22LR to .44 Spl. The original standard for grips was was a square-butt rubber monogrip with rosewood inserts. This has now become an option and the new standard is a Hogue textured rubber monogrip with finger grooves. All GP100 revolvers feature a strong triple-locking cylinder, and are available in both blued and stainless steel models, and in both square and round-butt variations.

Production

Production of this firearm began in 1985 and continues to the present day. Specific variants with unique features were introduced over the years, with stainless steel models becoming widely available starting in 1986.
