Analysis

SIG Sauer introduced the GT4 as the carry-oriented member of the P211 family, which began with the compensated GTO competition model the previous year. The design shortens the slide and barrel relative to the full-size versions while retaining the platform’s Series 80-style SAO trigger geometry and P320 magazine compatibility. This addresses the practical requirements of concealed carry without abandoning the high-capacity hammer-fired architecture that defines the series. The low-profile magwell and non-compensated barrel further differentiate it from the competition-focused GTO and the longer GT5.
