About the Gun

The P211-GT5 is a full-size, single-action-only double-stack 1911-style pistol. It uses a stainless steel frame paired with an alloy grip module fitted with G10 panels, a full-length slide, removable steel magwell, fully ambidextrous controls including a grip safety, and a full-length accessory rail. Two finishes are offered: black Nitron and Coyote Cerakote tan. Note: Height measurement is to the bottom of the baseplate. Magazine extends further.

Production began in early 2026 and is currently ongoing.

MSRP is around $2,300. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $1,800–$2,100.

Analysis

SIG Sauer introduced the GT5 alongside the GT4 as the full-size, non-compensated member of the P211 family. Building on the compensated GTO model released the prior year, the GT5 retains the platform’s Series 80-style SAO trigger geometry and P320 magazine compatibility while providing a longer sight radius and greater mass for duty, defensive, or range use. The standard (non-low-profile) magwell and full-length dust cover distinguish it from the carry-oriented GT4.
