Analysis

This compact firearm in 357 SIG caliber offers notable performance for its size, particularly in terms of accuracy and terminal ballistics. The design prioritizes a comfortable grip, with ergonomics that suit a wide range of hand sizes, making it accessible for extended range sessions. Reliability is a key asset, as it consistently functions across various conditions with proper care. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 6.5 pounds in double-action mode, which aids in precise shot placement. However, felt recoil is sharp due to the potent cartridge, potentially challenging for less experienced shooters. On the downside, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring regular attention to prevent wear. Additionally, sourcing replacement parts may pose difficulties, as availability is not always guaranteed. Overall, this pistol serves well for those prioritizing power in a smaller frame, provided they can manage the recoil and upkeep.

Exceptional performance and quality

Miniature P226 in 357 Sig is an excellent deep cover gun. Recoil is not excessive and sights are very good. Eleven round capacity makes for a capable self defense weapon. Quality superb.
