Analysis

This .40 S&W semi-automatic pistol offers a solid blend of performance and design for shooters seeking a reliable duty or carry option. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent groupings at moderate ranges, thanks to a well-engineered barrel and sight system. Ergonomically, the grip design accommodates a wide range of hand sizes, enhancing control during extended shooting sessions. Reliability is a key asset, with the firearm functioning smoothly across various conditions and ammunition types. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring meticulous cleaning to prevent wear on critical components. Parts availability may also pose challenges for some users, particularly in less-served regions. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 4.5 pounds in single-action, though some might find the double-action pull heavier than preferred. Felt recoil is manageable but noticeable, given the caliber’s inherent snap, necessitating proper grip technique for optimal control.

A very dependable pistol. Beavertale is very handy. Gun is hefty therefore recoil is very controlable.
