The P250 is a unique modular firearm design. This chassis-like frame contains the trigger assembly and is the serialized part of the gun. The frame rests inside a polymer grip with the serial number showing through a window on the right side. In order to change the dimensions of the grip, you simply insert the modular frame into an entirely new polymer grip assembly.

Analysis

This compact pistol in .40 S&W caliber offers a solid option for those seeking a balance of power and concealability. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent performance at typical defensive ranges, while the ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip for a wide range of hand sizes. Reliability is a key asset, with the firearm functioning well under varied conditions, provided it receives proper care. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring attention to detail to prevent wear on critical components. Availability of replacement parts may pose challenges, potentially delaying repairs. The trigger pull is smooth with a predictable break, though some users might find it slightly heavy for rapid follow-up shots. Felt recoil is noticeable due to the potent caliber in a smaller frame, which could affect control for less experienced shooters. Overall, it’s a capable choice with considerations for upkeep and user comfort.
