About the Gun

The P250 is a unique modular firearm design. This chassis-like frame contains the trigger assembly and is the serialized part of the gun. The frame rests inside a polymer grip with the serial number showing through a window on the right side. In order to change the dimensions of the grip, you simply insert the modular frame into an entirely new polymer grip assembly.

Analysis

This subcompact pistol in .40 S&W caliber offers a solid blend of performance and concealability, making it a viable option for personal defense. Its accuracy is commendable for its size, delivering consistent groupings at typical engagement distances. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip for most hand sizes, aiding in control during rapid fire. Reliability is a key asset, with the firearm functioning well under varied conditions, provided it receives regular care. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to the compact frame, requiring patience for thorough cleaning. Availability of replacement parts may pose a challenge in some regions, potentially delaying repairs. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5.5 pounds in double-action, which suits many shooters. Felt recoil is noticeable, as expected in this caliber and size, though manageable with proper technique, making it less ideal for novice users.
