About the Gun

The P320 is a polymer-framed service pistol designed with the input of law enforcement officers. The result is an operator-safety focused striker duty pistol. Taking into account the concerns of military and police training officers, the P320 does not require the operator to pull the trigger nor use a special tool to take-down the firearm for cleaning or routine maintenance. It features a modular grip frame and removable fire control assembly, interchangeable grip panels, lower Picatinny rail, front and rear slide serrations.

Analysis

This compact firearm in 357 SIG caliber offers a compelling package for shooters seeking a balance of power and portability. Its accuracy is noteworthy, with consistent performance at moderate ranges, making it a reliable choice for both defensive and target shooting scenarios. The ergonomics are well-designed, providing a comfortable grip for a variety of hand sizes, which enhances control during extended use. Reliability is a strong point, as it functions smoothly under diverse conditions with minimal malfunctions. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring regular attention to ensure optimal performance. Availability of replacement parts may pose challenges in certain regions, potentially frustrating owners needing repairs. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 6.5 pounds, offering a predictable break. Felt recoil, while manageable for experienced users, might be sharp for newer shooters due to the potent caliber, necessitating proper training for effective handling.
