About the Gun

The P320 Subcompact is a small-frame, striker-fired polymer pistol that pairs a short slide and barrel with a correspondingly short grip module. It is the most compact size in the original P320 lineup, designed for deeper concealment. Grip modules were offered in both railed and non-railed versions; the non-railed module features a more rounded trigger guard profile. The slide carries a Nitron finish, and the model was produced in 9mm and .40 S&W.

Production ran from 2015 through 2019.

Market value

MSRP at production was around $600–$700. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $250–$400.

Analysis

SIG introduced the Subcompact early in the P320’s commercial run to extend the modular platform into the deep-concealment segment. The shortened grip and slide reduced overall dimensions while retaining the interchangeable fire-control unit, allowing caliber and size changes within the same serialized component. Both railed and non-railed grip modules were offered to accommodate different accessory and concealment preferences. Production was relatively brief; the model was phased out around 2019 as the dedicated P365 platform assumed SIG’s primary role in the subcompact category. The Subcompact remains a distinct early size variant within the broader P320 family.
