About the Gun

The P320 X-Carry is a medium-frame, striker-fired polymer pistol that pairs a compact-length slide with an X-Series carry grip module. The X-Series grip features an extended beavertail and a high undercut trigger guard. It uses a competition-style flat trigger and a Nitron-finished stainless steel slide with lightening cuts and a reduced-profile slide catch lever. Sights are XRAY3 day/night in front with a night sight rear. An accessory rail is standard.

MSRP at production was around $700–$850. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $400–$600.

Analysis

SIG introduced the X-Carry in 2017 as part of the first X-Series upgrade to the P320 platform. The revised grip module and slide treatment were intended to improve shootability and control while retaining a carry-friendly overall length. Positioned between the full-size X models and more compact options, it offered higher capacity than the Compact along with the enhanced ergonomics of the X-Series. Production of the original multi-finish X-Carry variants was relatively brief, running primarily from 2017 through 2019 before later X-Series and military-derived carry models assumed that role in the lineup. It represents the early evolution of the P320 toward more refined, optics-oriented configurations.
