About the Gun

The P320 XCOMPACT is a compact, striker-fired modular pistol that pairs a shorter X-Series slide and barrel with a dedicated XCompact polymer grip module. The grip features an extended beavertail, high undercut trigger guard, reduced fastback profile, and a low-profile internal magwell. It uses a flat X-Series trigger and an optics-ready slide with X-RAY3 day/night sights and a removable rear sight plate. An accessory rail is present on the frame.

MSRP at production was around $680. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $350–$500.

Analysis

SIG introduced the XCOMPACT in 2019 to bring the X-Series ergonomics and flat trigger into a more concealable package than the earlier X-Carry while retaining higher capacity than the original subcompact. The redesigned compact-length grip module was intended to improve both control and everyday carry comfort relative to the standard P320 Compact. Factory optics readiness and the modular FCU architecture kept it aligned with the rest of the X-Series. It occupies the middle ground in the X-Series size range and remains a current option for users who want X-Series features in a compact footprint without moving to compensated or specialized variants.
