About the Gun

The P365-XL Spectre Comp is a Custom Works version of the P365-XL that pairs the X-Series grip module with an optics-ready slide incorporating an integral compensator. It features enhanced slide serrations, a laser-stippled LXG grip module, and often a TiN gold-colored barrel and flat trigger. X-RAY3 day/night sights are standard. The model retains compatibility with standard P365-XL magazines and holsters.

Analysis

SIG introduced the Spectre Comp on the P365-XL platform in early 2022 as one of the first factory micro-compact pistols with a slide-integrated compensator. The Custom Works package—compensated slide, distinctive grip texture, and premium finish details—was intended to reduce muzzle rise while retaining the size and capacity of the XL. Finish variants (including Coyote) followed. As later compensated and higher-capacity models entered the lineup, the XL Spectre Comp was phased out of primary production and is now treated as a discontinued Custom Works variant.
