About the Gun

The P365-XMACRO COMP is a compact, striker-fired polymer pistol built around the longer Macro grip module. It pairs that grip with an optics-ready slide that incorporates an integral compensator. The grip module includes a standard 1913 accessory rail and interchangeable backstraps. It is offered with or without an ambidextrous manual safety. XRAY3 day/night sights are standard, and the model uses high-capacity magazines compatible with the broader P365 family.

Analysis

SIG introduced the XMACRO COMP in 2022 as the first model in the XMACRO series, combining the new high-capacity Macro grip with an integrally compensated slide. The compensator was intended to reduce muzzle rise in a still-concealable package while delivering 17-round capacity. A manual-safety option followed the same pattern used across the P365 line. The COMP version established the XMACRO concept and remains the compensated counterpart to the later non-compensated XMACRO, giving shooters a choice between recoil reduction and a conventional full-length barrel/slide arrangement.
