About the Gun

With the introduction of the P938, SIG SAUER offers the ballistic advantage of the 9mm cartridge in a platform similar in size to the P238 pistol. A single-action-only trigger, coupled with full-size SIGLITE Night Sights makes the P938 handle like a much larger pistol, yet is still easy to carry concealed. With dimensions just slightly larger than its .380ACP counterpart, the P938 holds six or seven plus one rounds of 9mm in an all-metal frame. Nitron coated or natural stainless slide.

Production

Production of this firearm began in 2011, with the specific variant featuring enhanced design elements introduced around 2012. Manufacturing continued through subsequent years, with ongoing availability depending on market demand and updates to the design.

Analysis

This compact 9mm pistol offers a compelling option for concealed carry and personal defense. Its accuracy is commendable for its size, delivering consistent performance at short to medium ranges, ideal for most practical scenarios. The ergonomics are well-designed, with a grip that accommodates a variety of hand sizes, ensuring a secure hold during operation. Reliability is a strong point, as it functions smoothly with a wide range of ammunition under typical conditions. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to the intricacies of its compact design, requiring patience and attention to detail. Availability of replacement parts may pose challenges in some regions, potentially delaying repairs. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 7 pounds, which suits deliberate shooting but may feel heavy for some users. Felt recoil is moderate, manageable for most shooters with proper grip and stance, though smaller-framed individuals might find it slightly sharp.

If you were lucky enough to grab this nice 9mm then you know it has all you need in a ccw. Small and yet you can get ammo that's hot and it will eat it. Great for a women or man with smaller hands.
