About the Gun

The M Series pistol is a polymer frame design employing a Browning-style recoil action. It is striker-fired with a double-action only (DAO) trigger. The modern looking frame style has an ergonomic 111 degree grip angle and low barrel axis, minimizing muzzle lift and felt recoil. The frame includes a proprietary accessory rail forward of the trigger guard. Also unique to the gun are its unusual 'trapezoid' sights, similar in principle to the Glock's square 'U' notch design.

Production

Production of this model began in 1999 and continued through various iterations until around 2019. Specific variants with unique features were manufactured primarily in the early 2000s, with limited runs produced later for select markets.

Analysis

This 9x21 mm pistol offers a compelling package for shooters seeking precision and comfort. Its accuracy is noteworthy, delivering consistent groupings at moderate ranges, thanks to a well-designed barrel and sight system. Ergonomically, the grip fits a wide range of hand sizes, promoting a natural hold that aids in control during firing. Reliability is another strong point, with the firearm functioning smoothly under various conditions, even with extended use. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome, as disassembly requires more effort than some competing designs. Parts availability may also pose a challenge, particularly for those in regions with limited access to specialized components. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5 pounds, which suits most users, though some may prefer a lighter option. Felt recoil is moderate, manageable for experienced shooters but potentially noticeable for beginners. Overall, it’s a solid choice with minor drawbacks.
