Analysis

This .40 S&W semi-automatic pistol offers a solid option for shooters seeking a full-sized duty or personal defense firearm. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent groupings at moderate ranges, while the ergonomic grip design accommodates a variety of hand sizes, enhancing control during extended sessions. Reliability is a key asset, with the firearm performing well under diverse conditions when properly maintained. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to a complex disassembly process, which may deter less experienced users. Additionally, sourcing replacement parts can be challenging, potentially leading to delays in repairs. The trigger pull is on the heavier side, averaging around 6-7 pounds, which might affect precision for some shooters. Felt recoil is moderate for the caliber, manageable with proper grip but noticeable during rapid fire. Overall, it’s a dependable choice, though not without quirks that require consideration.

FANTASTIC Shooter!

This stainless steel frame make for an excellent .40 cal handgun. It is one of the most accurate weapons I own, so smooth in fact, shooting accuracy is only slightly mitigated in one handed firing.
