Founded in Trabzon Turkey in 1993, TISAS started to produce its first pistol, the FATIH 13 in 1994. In 1999 TISAS started to manufacture in facilities in the Arsin Organized Industrial Zone of Trabzon. ISO 9000 certified in 2001. Began exporting to the US in 2004.
