Analysis

This .45 Auto pistol, designed as a faithful reproduction of a classic military sidearm, offers several commendable attributes for enthusiasts and general shooters. Its accuracy is noteworthy, delivering consistent performance at typical handgun ranges, while the ergonomics provide a familiar, comfortable grip for those accustomed to traditional designs. Reliability is a strong point, with the firearm functioning well under standard conditions when properly maintained. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring regular attention to ensure optimal operation due to the design’s historical roots. Parts availability may pose challenges, as some components are not as widely accessible as those for more modern platforms. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5-6 pounds, which suits deliberate shooting, though some may find it slightly heavy. Felt recoil is moderate, manageable for most users, but potentially stout for newer shooters unaccustomed to larger calibers.

Extremely well-made and finished pistol at an exceptional price. Forged barrel, slide and frame. Current production uses no MIM components other than the recoil spring plug. Finish is grey/green Cerakote.

My first 1911

I love the format, hammer bite withstanding. It is SUPER accurate and the recoil is very well mitigated my its steel construction. I will say however, there are some revolvers with the same round capacity.

I have two of these. Both are very fine weapons. I have shot the first one quite often. I shoots very well and is very reliable. I would put it up against any of my more expensive 1911's. I like the "bare bones" models due to the fact that, in my opinion, if something break, it can be repaired cheaper.
