Analysis

Astra introduced the 680 in 1981 as the six-shot successor to its short-barrel .38 Spl pocket revolver. The frame and recoil shield were reshaped from the earlier 250. It was sold for plainclothes and backup use. Stainless Inox guns ran with the blued guns. Production continued into the mid-1990s. Used 680s trade as late Spanish snubs; parts are limited.
