Analysis

This 9mm pistol, a well-regarded design with roots in classic engineering, offers several notable attributes for shooters seeking a dependable firearm. Its accuracy is commendable, benefiting from a well-balanced frame and a crisp single-action trigger pull, typically around 5 pounds, which aids in precise shot placement. Ergonomically, the grip fits comfortably for many users, promoting a natural point of aim. Reliability is another strength, with a proven track record in varied conditions when properly maintained. Felt recoil is moderate, manageable for most shooters, even during extended sessions. However, maintenance can be somewhat intricate, requiring attention to detail for disassembly and cleaning. Availability of replacement parts may pose challenges, as some components are less common in today’s market. Additionally, the design might not suit users preferring modern striker-fired systems, as the manual safety and hammer-fired mechanism demand familiarity for safe operation.

There is nothing bad about this pistol. I bought mine in 1985 for an new release sale price of $325. It's the best investment I ever made.
