Cylinder lock up is in three places instead of two: cylinder stop and ejector rod collar for additional safety, strength and cylinder-to-barrel lock up.

Analysis

This .45 Colt revolver offers a solid option for shooters seeking a compact, powerful handgun for personal defense or casual range use. Its accuracy is commendable for a firearm in this size category, delivering consistent performance at moderate distances. The ergonomic design facilitates a comfortable grip, aiding in control during firing, though some users may find the frame slightly small for larger hands. Reliability is a strong point, with the mechanism functioning smoothly under regular use. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to the intricacies of the design, and sourcing replacement parts may pose a challenge for owners. The trigger pull is crisp but on the heavier side, which could affect precision for less experienced shooters. Felt recoil is noticeable, as expected with the potent caliber, potentially requiring adjustment for those unaccustomed to such power in a lightweight package.
