Chiappa's 2 inch revolver was initially produced with a fixed blade front sight and was only chambered for .357 Magnum. Around 2013 they began producing the gun in two calibers (.357 Mag and .40 S&W) with a fiber optic front sight, and in 2017 they added a 9 mm model. Early in production the model was marked as the 20DS, but now it is marked and commonly known as the 200DS.
