Redhawk and Blackhawk, and the Dan Wesson Firearms Model 44. Some Anaconda variants were also offered in .45 Colt caliber.

Analysis

This .44 Magnum revolver is a robust choice for hunters and enthusiasts seeking a powerful sidearm. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering tight groupings at moderate ranges when paired with quality ammunition, making it suitable for precision shooting. The ergonomics are well-considered, with a grip that accommodates various hand sizes, enhancing control during extended use. Reliability is a strong point, as the design handles the potent cartridge with consistent performance under demanding conditions. However, maintenance can be somewhat involved, requiring regular attention to ensure longevity due to the stresses of the caliber. Parts availability may pose challenges for some users, potentially complicating repairs. The trigger pull is smooth in single action, though heavier in double action, which might affect rapid follow-up shots. Felt recoil is substantial, as expected with this chambering, and may be taxing for less experienced shooters.
