Analysis

This 9mm semi-automatic pistol is a well-regarded choice for both novice and experienced shooters due to its consistent performance across key areas. Its accuracy is noteworthy, delivering tight groupings at typical defensive ranges, while the ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip for a wide range of hand sizes, enhancing control during extended sessions. Reliability is a strong suit, with the firearm functioning flawlessly under diverse conditions, even with varied ammunition types. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5.5 pounds, providing a predictable break that aids in precision shooting. Felt recoil is moderate, manageable for most users, though it may feel slightly sharp for those sensitive to feedback. On the downside, maintenance can be somewhat intricate for beginners, requiring attention to detail during disassembly. Additionally, sourcing certain replacement parts may pose challenges in some regions, potentially delaying repairs. Overall, it’s a solid option with minor drawbacks to consider.

Almost Perfection

Glock has continued to improve their most popular handgun. The Glock 19 is the "go-to" gun for anyone not sure what to buy. I have owned several over the years, Gen 1, 4, and now 5. It is a great gun, concealable, easy to use, and very affordable.
