About the Gun

Fourth-generation subcompact pistol in .357 SIG features a polymer frame with interchangeable backstraps that allow adjustment of grip circumference and angle for different hand sizes. It includes an enlarged reversible magazine release, a dual-recoil-spring assembly, and rough-textured frame surfaces. The slide houses standard fixed sights, and the design maintains the short-recoil, locked-breech operating system with a striker-fired trigger mechanism.

Analysis

This variant applied the Gen4 ergonomic and recoil-management updates to the subcompact .357 SIG platform, providing the cartridge’s high-velocity characteristics in the smallest Glock package. The dual-spring setup was intended to moderate the sharp recoil impulse within the short grip and lighter slide while supporting reliable function with a range of .357 SIG loads. The model served primarily as a deep-concealment or backup option for users who preferred the caliber’s ballistics, though its limited capacity and pronounced recoil in this size restricted broader appeal. Secondary market availability is low due to modest production volumes and the overall decline in .357 SIG interest.
