Analysis

The 43X configuration addresses capacity and grip length within a narrow profile suited for concealed carry. The extended frame provides improved purchase compared to shorter-grip single-stack designs while maintaining a slide length that keeps overall dimensions compact. The Marksman Barrel contributes to accuracy potential at typical defensive distances without increasing overall size. The MOS version expands mounting options for optics, and the addition of the slim rail allows accessory attachment. Magazine compatibility is specific to the slimline series, with aftermarket extended options available from sources such as Shield Arms. The model has seen continuous availability since 2019, with production adjustments limited to finishes, optic cuts, and rail inclusion rather than major mechanical changes. This setup positions the 43X as a consistent option for users prioritizing a balance of concealability and round count in the 9mm segment.
